Dr. Megha Rao’s journey into dentistry was inspired by three remarkable individuals who shaped the person and clinician she is today—a doctor, an artist, and an engineer. Her father, Dr. S. Girish Rao, a surgeon, was her greatest inspiration, instilling in her a deep respect for the healing profession, compassion for patients, and the privilege of making a difference in people’s lives. Her mother, Sujatha, an artist, nurtured her creativity and appreciation for aesthetics, while her grandfather, Rammurti, an engineer, inspired her curiosity, precision, and innovative spirit.

She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Government Dental College, Bangalore, followed by a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics from DAPM RV Dental College, Bangalore. Driven by her commitment to excellence and lifelong learning, she later moved to the United States to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the prestigious University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Dr. Megha is passionate about delivering personalized, evidence-based care with a focus on minimally invasive dentistry, endodontics, aesthetic dentistry, and smile design. Her clinical practice is guided by the latest scientific evidence, ensuring that every patient benefits from modern, predictable, and high-quality treatment.
